Overview

Managing oversight of sales administration and support functions to ensure sales productivity, provide client and technical responses to requests for proposals, and create compelling presentations to secure client business. This position supports all sales team members responsible for securing client accounts. Duties include proposal management and sales activity for new, existing, or upsell accounts, including the identification, creation, and/or implementation of enhanced programs and tools to support product development initiatives, sales education and training, workflow illustrations and collateral while also working collaboratively with members of the corporate marketing team to ensure brand integrity and presence.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with sales management and proposal development members to create, and coordinate proposal submission for corporate and government opportunities.
  • Assists in creating the winning business strategy to secure accounts, including developing presentations to be used at client and prospect visits.
  • Represents the company when working with cross-functional sales initiatives and presentation requirements.
  • Creates documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sales and interdepartmental policies and procedures for sales staff.
  • Assists with resolution of daily sales-related operational questions or assigned projects.
  • Provides guidance and training assistance to employees by understanding individual teammate's professional goals, to help them achieve high levels of success.
  • Analyze solicitation requirements to ensure thorough and comprehensive responses are created.
  • Report on business metrics using presentation methods including but not limited to service line statistics, transactional volume metrics, and case study scenarios, reductions in dilution, trend identification, staffing needs, goal and closing ratio achievements.
  • Recommend changes in procedures and training needs.
  • Ensure that all workflows and automation implementation is accurately and thoroughly illustrated when preparing presentation materials.
  • Work with subject matter experts to ensure best in industry practices are clearly reflected in all materials produced.
  • Develop strong, positive relationships with internal teams and business partners.
  • Provide data and reports to assist sales staff with research to address target clients.
  • Research competitive intel to ensure a value proposition is addressed thoroughly for certain solicitation responses.
  • Track sales targets and maintain accessibility to CRM.
  • Answer calls from sales team members and provide necessary assistance to the team when traveling to customer sites or forwarding collateral or reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university required; or four to six years of equivalent work experience in an inside sales environment with a minimum of two years in sales support administration
  • Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong writing and document preparation skills
  • Strong business sales strategy acumen
  • Good customer care skills
  • Good written and verbal communication  
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • An ability to work independently and with a team
  • Good administrative and project management skills
  • Strong research and evaluation skills
  • Five years’ experience with relocation, mobility or real estate
  • Federal government proposal experience
  • A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Proposal automation applications, such as QVidian
