Associate Relocation Counselor

Regular Part-Time


Responsible for program, administrative, and clerical support for relocation counselors.  Works closely with relocation counselors to understand client programs to facilitate smooth service deliver to transferee and client.  


  • Places referrals for marketing assistance, home find service, rental assistance, temporary quarters, etc.
  • May be asked to communicate vendor and service information to transferee.
  • Follows up on place referrals to include information on appointment dates, ERC forms, listing information, marketing activity, home finding activity, referral fees, etc.
  • Places orders for appraisals, inspections title, BMA’s, household goods, etc.
  • Follows up on placed orders to include information on appointment dates, due dates on various reports, pack/load/delivery dates and invoices for services.
  • Updates database system, fills in appropriate screens and fields to assure system information is current and accurate.
  • Monitors data integrity by regularly running reports and identifying errors, obtaining correct information and updating files.
  • Does HHG pack/load/delivery day phone calls to transferee. Updates system and notes.
  • Processes resale contacts, transferee offers and support paperwork for relocation counselor(s).
  • Re-rates HHG estimates for relocation counselor(s).
  • Maintains files keeping paperwork in proper order.
  • Works closely with relocation counselor(s) to understand client(s) program to facilitate smooth service deliver to transferee and clients.
  • May serve rental or household goods-only level files.
  • Works with accounting team in processing invoices and payments.
  • Helps to facilitate processing of expense reports and expense administration reports.
  • Helps to maintain vendor information in database and track vendor performance.
  • Prepares reports and documents from database, Excel and Word as requested.
  • Provides telephone overage for relocation counselor(s)
  • Provides coverage for administrative assistants.


  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Mortgage, real estate, or settlement experience preferred.
  • Strong computer, database, and Microsoft Office experience.
  • 2+ years of college or strong academic history.
