Overview

Under the direction of the VP/GM, manages corporate and GSA move management activities and clients serviced by the organization and its affiliated companies.  Position interacts with several internal service areas, including: Ops, Sales, Accounting, Contracts and Purchasing to ensure that all relocation activities are performed in accordance with contractual, industry, client and government regulatory requirements. Position also interacts with accounts, transferees, and third party carriers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the successful completion of corporate and GSA household goods moves on a day to day basis.
  • Evaluate, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve move situations/issues escalated from the move supervisors.
  • Familiar with household goods claims processes.
  • Development and management of supplier network consisting of ten primary and twenty secondary household goods suppliers based on
    • Carrier’s experience hauling corporate account business, their quality/performance and their ability/willingness to bring CapRelo into their accounts
    • Ensure every job is handled on time and the network’s quality levels meet or exceed the agreed upon service levels
    • Allocation of business to network providers based upon to set target
  • Identify potential revenue streams from Move Management vendors
  • Account retention
  • Supplier selection and contract negotiations to in.
  • Business development for move management, specifically targeting the development of the household goods management program.
  • Development and implementation of a smart, simple technological solution for shipment allocation with the IT Team.
  • Development of a QC process to track and manage customer satisfaction surveys for all corporate and government business lines to include GSA 3080’s.
  • Attendance at off-site conferences as required.
  • Oversee auditing of data for benchmarking and compliance.
  • Oversee completion of and files all required reports.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations.
  • Adheres to all contractual guidelines.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Any required corporate or government reporting as defined by program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2007 Microsoft Office suite especially Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint; move management systems; or comparable software packages.
  • Household goods moving industry knowledge
  • Federal government procurement experience.
  • Move management services, household goods claims, and tariff experience.
  • Supplier management experience.
  • Strong Customer Service and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong follow-through skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, follow, and comply with strict protocol guidelines.
